Key objectives after the training is over are as following:-

- Initial follow up with the learners to check if they understood the content of training and how they intend to apply this to their job
- Secondary follow up after a short aftermath to find out if the lesson learned is beneficial to the learner in applying in their job performance
- How to get the learner to apply quickly the lesson learned onto their job
- Getting feedback from the training department or learners superior on the person performance on the job
- Issue a deviation or corrective action to implement weaknesses originated from the training if any.
If this is not carry out, the training plan will fail and give a bad impression and experience to company and trainer alike.
Evaluation need to be made to assess the training effectiveness, so that, it will act as a yardstick for future courses.
Some training program, may need further on the job coaching program, especially for technical skill, learning a new system and managing a change in work place behavior. Coaching program will reinforce the action and behavior of learners.
