Strategic Procurement and Inventory Management

Conducted my 2nd Strategic Procurement program in Johor Bahru on 15th and 16th Oct for Escatec. Participants are mainly from Supply Chain personnel and key procurement specialist.

Strategic procurement and inventory management play a very important role in all companies operation as these are key operation where a broken link in the system will create issue for the total operation.

Modules covered include businesses challenges, role of purchasing and procurement, supplier management, risk management and inventory management. Key focus is on the tactical and strategic objective of the procurement and supply chain operation.

Overall score of 4 out of 5 on feedback.

Warehousing Certification Program

Most challenging program for the year of 2019 with participant from diverse back ground and also there are language barrier among the participants

Need to speak Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin and some smattering of English as a trainer cum lecturer for this 40 hours program broken down into 9 modules over 5 days.

eCommerce logistics training program

Conducted a 4 days training program for the 2nd batch of fresh graduate before they can be employed by a eCommerce fulfillment hub.

Challenges of the training is that,  these batch of  fresh graduate has the lack of working experience to able to grasp the industry challenges, thus, as a trainer, need to to show them and also raise many examples on eCommerce in order for them to have better learning.
